How Do We Get There?

You Know Where We Should be Going. How Do We Get There?

Hello to our cooperative community!

It’s been a busy month so far and I wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge how much work happens by all of our employees in the month of April. There’s no month throughout the year that embodies our cooperative nature quite like April.

During this month, we are busy bringing our vision to life in every corner of the business.

Our food business is bustling as we help people fill their tables for the spring holidays. Our auto service centers are busy helping people get their vehicles summer-adventure ready.

And throughout the entire cooperative, during this spike in customer activity, we are hard at work engaging people in our elections—one of our most important cooperative processes. Behind it all is an outstanding network of people, working hard to make it all happen.

During the month of April, it’s easy for me to see us living our vision, a well-nourished community, cultivated through cooperation. I would like to recognize all of our employees for their hard work and for continuing to bring this to life! As I look to April 30th, when I officially assume the role of GM, one priority is clear to me:

I want to continue to make sure our employees’ work is supported and to reinforce the foundations that make it easier for all of you to build toward our vision.

A big part of me being able to achieve this is continuing to listen and learn from the people around me.

Though I’ve been connecting with many of our employees over the last month, there are still many that I need to connect with. My focus will be finding more ways to hear from everyone. I fully believe our employees and members know exactly where we should be going and how to get there, and in my new role I will work to facilitate that and bring people together so they can excel and create important things together.
