>> UPDATED 3/19/21: Read more about when the Co-op Market will re-open here
To Our Community,
Late last night we learned that an employee in our Co-op Market (located at 43 Lyme Road, Hanover, NH) tested positive for COVID-19. Obviously this is not welcome news. Fortunately this information never catches us by surprise.
Our teams have been prepared for this since the beginning of the pandemic. We have a contingency plan in place, ready to go at any moment.
Here is how we are responding:
The location will be closed today, 3/18, for deep cleaning and, out of an abundance of caution, tomorrow as well while we continue to assess the facts. We will review the situation on a day-to-day basis until further notice.
A third-party cleaning company is performing a deep clean of the entire space today. We are also following all recommendations, such as contact tracing, that we have received from public authorities, including city, county, and state public health departments, and the CDC.
We have identified employees who may have been in close contact with the affected person. Per CDC guidelines, all those in close contact with any individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 will self-quarantine. The last time the employee was in the store was on March 16th.
To learn more about all the steps we are taking in response to COVID-19, please see our website. You may also feel free to contact me anytime. I welcome any comments and questions.
Wrap Up
Thank you to our cooperative community. Know that as always, I welcome your comments and questions, so please reach out to me anytime.
In the meantime, remember to be kind to one another and to yourselves, and we look forward to serving you in our stores and at the curbside.
Onward and upward,
Thanks,
Paul
