Shop Your Values with New Product Designations

In 2022 and 2023 the Co-op’s Board of Directors conducted a member survey asking members what Co-op goals were most important to them.

Here’s what you should know.
Based on the results of that survey and other data, the Board created a set of Co-op Values. These values point to being a business that has a higher standard for positive social and environmental impact.

Now what?

To raise the bar on our social and environmental impact, we’re highlighting products that align with our values and yours through new designations like zero waste, B Corp, and underrepresented-owned.

What does this mean for you?

  • More informed choices. Look for special labels and displays to easily identify products aligning with your values.
  • Rewards and promotions. We’ll offer incentives to encourage support for these impactful categories.
  • Celebrating B Corp Month. Look out for B Corp-designated products throughout March.

What’s a B Corp?
A B Corp, or Benefit Corporation, is a business that has a proven record of defined social, environmental and governance best practices. Being a certified B Corp is a badge of honor and a well-respected symbol in any industry.
