Kraft Heinz Company is recalling certain products that may be linked to an ingredient supplier, SunOpta, whose sunflower kernels may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause listeriosis (commonly called listeria), a serious infection characterized by fever, muscle aches, diarrhea, and other gastrointestinal symptoms. Listeria is sometimes fatal in young children, the frail and elderly, and those with weakened immune systems.
This recall is being issued as a precaution. To date, no illnesses linked to the products have been reported.

Recalled varieties carried by the Co-op include Planters Sunflower Kernel Tube, 3 oz, UPC 29000012714
Refunds
If you have purchased a recalled product from the Co-op, please return it for a refund.
