Pepperidge Farm is voluntarily recalling specific lots of Goldfish Crackers because the products contain whey powder as an ingredient that has been recalled due to the potential presence of Salmonella.
Salmonella is a microorganism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
This recall is being issued as a precaution. To date, no illnesses have been reported.
