Dawn Archambeault

I’m the New Director of Marketing & Consumer Relations. Here’s What I Want to Do.

Dear Members,

My name is Dawn Archambeault, and I’m thrilled to be the Co-op’s new Director of Marketing & Consumer Relations! I started this week and wanted to take the opportunity to briefly introduce myself to all of you.

Before I do that, I’d like to thank everyone for the warm welcome, especially the talented people on our Co-op’s creative team. I’m so excited to join them, and to be surrounded by so many inspiring and highly creative people. As I told our copywriter recently, I know we’re going to do magic things together!

Here are a few personal things about me:

  • I live in Enfield with my 3 kids, 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 husband.
  • I’ve lived in the Upper Valley my entire life.
  • I’ve been a Co-op member for decades!
  • I’m a musical theatre performer, costumer, and stage makeup artist.
  • I’ve owned and run my own successful marketing and graphic design company for more than 15 years, with a focus on small businesses.

One important goal I have from the very beginning is to reeducate the community about the Co-op, what we do, and our values. I also want to create a true sense of ownership in our members. All of us—staff, members, and shoppers—are part of an amazing community resource! It’s up to all of us to take that seriously.

That said, it doesn’t mean we can’t have a lot of fun doing it. My vision is to bring our Co-op’s relatable, fun, and engaging voice to our community. You’ll find that I love funky art and new and different things and a great vibe and manic creative energy and a well-placed run-on sentence. I love the Upper Valley and it’s quirky, awesome energy.

I love the people here and this great time of transition in our cooperative’s history. I love how this grand old business is transforming and that we have the opportunity to build something new while still sticking to the roots that brought us here. I love painting pictures with words and images and storytelling. And I love my work because people matter, ideas matter, words and images matter, and all of this is so true in everything we do.

Our collective work should tell a story, make people feel, make people see, make people think. I can’t wait to work with all of our employees and members to tell the great story we have here.

So now that you know more about me, know that I’m going to want to know more about you! Tell me all about that idea you have tucked away, your ambitions for the cooperative business that you own, your fearless and free-spirited optimism, your passion for turning tired old ideas upside down, or whatever it is you have in mind.

I’m drawn to those dreamers who want to make the world a better place, and this cooperative community is full of them. Let’s do amazing things together and never tire of reminding the world how great this cooperative is.

—Dawn
