This week our creative team had an adventure working on an ad to illustrate our new flex positions, the ones that feature amazingly accommodating scheduling. Then we hit on an idea—a slinky! A multicolored one, held by a young person, stretched out willy nilly.
This concept had it all: color to represent an inclusive culture, tautness to convey stability, flexibility to illustrate how these jobs can stretch to fit your life. Our copywriter was so inspired that he wrote several annoyingly verbose emails. Here is the result from this creative endeavor:
These days, the food-industry trade news is dominated by the topic of employment. Many restaurants and grocers are struggling to fill positions, and the jobs often come with bad shifts and no perks. The takeaway is that if you’re looking for a job or know someone who is, our new flex positions are awesome opportunities.
The jobs include the Co-op’s sweet employee discount—20 percent off most everything we sell and most auto repair. Tell us the hours you want to work, a few or a lot, when you’re available, and we’ll work with you to make it happen.
