Clif Bar & Company, a California-based manufacturer of organic energy bars, is voluntary recalling certain products due to the potential of an undeclared allergen.
Clif Builder’s Protein Chocolate Mint Bar may contain undeclared peanuts and some tree nuts, including almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, walnuts, and coconuts. Consumers who have peanut and tree nut allergies should not consume the product.
This recall is a precaution. To date, there have been no reports of allergic reactions.
