Dear customers,
The Co-op is temporarily pulling three products—Abracadabra Chill Brew Coffee and Ropana Truffles and Granola—in response to a notice from the New Hampshire Liquor Commission regarding the regulation of CBD in food. Please note that CBD oil, supplements, and body care products are not affected.
Since the notice applies only to retailers in New Hampshire, we are only pulling the products from our New Hampshire locations. We’ve been in contact with officials from the state of Vermont, who have told us that Vermont does not plan to take the same approach as the state of New Hampshire. As a result, we are not pulling any products from our White River Junction, Vt., store. We’ll keep it on the shelf in Vermont until we hear otherwise.

Federal and state governments are now trying to regulate a product that is widely available across the country. In doing so they are creating a lot of confusion and inconsistency. So if you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the Co-op anytime. Call (603) 643-2667 and ask to speak to someone in the Co-op Outreach Department, or email us at comment@coopfoodstore.com.
For more information, you may also call the N.H. Liquor Commission at 603-271-3521.
NOURISH. CULTIVATE. COOPERATE.
