Popular applesauce maker Materne North America is voluntarily recalling thousands of pouches of GoGo squeeZ applesauce after inspectors discovered food residue in two pumps at a company processing plant in Michigan. In a statement, GoGo squeeZ announced the pouches did not meet quality standards, but no illnesses had been reported.
Affected Product
Recalled pouches have a Best Before Date of 12/4/15-3/4/17 and a five-digit production code beginning with “US,” followed by 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 or 08.
The recall does not include GoGo squeeZ organic products or YogurtZ.

If you’ve purchased this product from the Co-op, please return it for a refund. Consumers may also call 1-844-275-5841 or visit voucher.gogosqueez.com to request a replacement.
