Betty Crocker Super Moist Cake Mix Recall

E. coli outbreak affects General Mills products in more than 20 states.

General Mills has recalled two flavors of Betty Crocker Delights Super Moist Cake Mix because an ingredient, Wondra flour, may be linked to a multistate outbreak of E. coli 0121. This recall is precautionary. To date, no illnesses have been reported.

E. coli O121 is a bacterium that can cause bloody diarrhea and dehydration. Seniors, the very young, and those with weak immune systems are most susceptible.
